I cross stitch. Yep, and I enjoy it a lot. It's quite relaxing. :)

This one is a 14 count, and took about a year to do.

Design size: est. 14" x 11.5"

It is relaxing, isn't it? What an awesome piece! The dark blue cloth really makes the colors so vibrant.

I've seen this kit in the stores....it looks really hard, but is it? I really love the celestial design, and yours here looks just gorgeous!

Thank you! :thanks:

Its actually not too bad. It's large, but has simple techniques.
The only strong intricate moves are the french knots. You do have to really keep count with this one though. Since it has so a lot of spacial areas its easy to make a wrong move.

Believe me, I've run across the whole keeping good count thing through trial and error. I made a piece called "Happiness" and idk how noticeable it is on dA, but when doing the background, I sorta lost count and screwed up....I tried to cover it up without taking out stitches and it's still the first thing I notice when I look at it, but no one else notices it, so maybe it's not that bad?? Whatever...

The point is, I LOVE this piece! It's so beautiful!

I have done that many times. But if you can hide the mistakes and no one notices, that is great!
Normally an artist is his or her own worst critic. Your piece came out great! :)

And Thank you! :aww:
